Our Story
In 2009, two mountain-obsessed friends missed the last bus out of Yuksom after a spontaneous trek. Stranded under a sky ablaze with stars, they sketched a simple idea on a ticket stub: help curious travellers experience the Eastern Himalayas the way locals do—slowly, sustainably, and with genuine heart.
That late-night scribble became EasoTrip (pronounced “Ease-o-Trip”): a Siliguri-based team that now designs treks, cultural circuits, and family holidays across Sikkim, Darjeeling, Bhutan, and North-East India.
From a borrowed hatchback and one Goecha La departure, we've grown to 45+ passionate trip designers, guides, and homestay partners, hosting 5,700 travellers (and counting) while maintaining a 4.9⭐ guest rating.
