October to March (Best Season):
You get dry weather in Kochi, cool mornings in Munnar and calm, mosquito-light backwaters in Alleppey. This October to March is the ideal window for the full circuit of Kerala and explore the region in one of its most beautiful forms.
April to May (Summer):
Kochi and Alleppey turn hot and humid, so it is best if you plan and reserve your outdoor activities and sightseeings for early morning and evening. However, Munnar stays pleasant throughout the summers and prices also dip slightly.
June to September (Monsoon):
The hills turn deep green during this monsoon season across Kerala, when the waterfalls run full and prices drop to their lowest. The Nehru Trophy Boat Race in Alleppey usually falls in August, which could be a great experience for you if you get a chance to witness this sport. However, Munnar viewpoints can stay hidden in mist, and Eravikulam National Park normally closes during this season.
This 4 Nights/5 Days tour starts and ends at Kochi, which connects well by air, rail and road to every major Indian city.
Kochi → Adimali → Munnar → Alleppey → Kochi
Join with us to enjoy an amazing Kerala experience for a 4 Nights/5 Days

By Road
Kochi sits on NH 66 and NH 544, so KSRTC and private buses run to it from Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Mangaluru and every district in Kerala.
You travel in a private vehicle with a local driver who covers the full route with you.
We book your Eravikulam National Park slot in advance, so a sold-out counter never costs you the day.
We upgrade your Alleppey hotel night to a private houseboat whenever you want it.
We hand you a fixed, transparent quote with no hidden charges added later.
We plan your Day 1 and Day 5 around your actual flight and train timings.
Can we stay on a houseboat instead of a hotel in Alleppey?
Yes you can stay on a houseboat in Alleppey for a night instead of a hotel. But for this, you need to inform this before the starting of this tour so that we can make arrangements to swap the Day 4 hotel stay for a private houseboat with a crew and an onboard chef. The price changes accordingly.
How many hotel changes are there?
There are 4 hotel changes, where you stay one night in Kochi, two nights in Munnar and one night in Alleppey. This depends whether you select 1 night for a houseboat night stay or not!
How long is the Munnar to Alleppey drive?
The drive from Munnar to Alleppey covers about 170 km and takes around 4.5 hours, including a lunch stop.
Is this trip good for a honeymoon?
Yes this is a great trip for honeymooners, as it is one of our most booked honeymoon routes. We make arrangements for candlelight dinners, flower bed decoration and a houseboat upgrade on request.
Can children handle the drives?
Yes, children can handle this drive, as every drive stays under 5 hours and includes proper stops in-between. The last day involves only 1.5 hours of driving.
What is the difference between a shikara ride and a houseboat?
A shikara is a small canoe that reaches narrow village canals where a houseboat cannot enter. A houseboat is much larger in its size, slower and comes with bedrooms for an overnight stay.
Is Eravikulam National Park open all year?
No, this National Park is not open all year. It usually closes during the monsoon season (June to September), during the Nilgiri Tahr calving season. However, we confirm the dates before your booking.
Does the package include meals?
Breakfast at your hotel comes standard and complimentary, and we add lunch and dinner on request at extra cost.
