Here is the Route Flow:
By Air
You land at Cochin International Airport (COK), the busiest airport in Kerala, which receives direct flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and most Gulf cities. Our driver meets you at the arrival gate.
By Train
You get down at Ernakulam Junction (ERS) or Ernakulam Town (ERN), both well connected across India. Alleppey Railway Station (ALLP) sits on the coastal line if you want to reverse the route
By Road
Kochi sits on NH 66 and NH 544, so KSRTC and private buses run to it from Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Mangaluru and every district in Kerala. Thekkady also connects onward to Madurai through the Cumbum route.
You travel in a private vehicle with a local driver who stays with you for the full route.
We book your Periyar Lake boat tickets and Eravikulam National Park slot in advance, since both sell out early.
We select houseboats we have personally checked, so you get a clean boat and a proper onboard kitchen.
We hand you a fixed, transparent quote with no hidden charges added later.
We share your food preference with the houseboat crew ahead of time, including veg, non-veg and Jain.
You reach us on WhatsApp during the trip, not just before booking.
Is the houseboat private or shared?
It is private. You get your own boat with a crew, bedrooms, a living area, an open deck and an onboard chef who cooks fresh meals for you.
Will we see a tiger at Periyar?
Tiger sightings are rare and never guaranteed. Most visitors spot wild elephants, gaur, sambar deer, wild boar, otters and a wide range of birds along the lake.
How many hotel changes are there?
Four. You stay one night in Kochi, two nights in Munnar, one night in Thekkady and one night on the houseboat.
What time does the houseboat start and finish?
Boarding usually happens around noon and the boat cruises back to the jetty by about 9 AM the next morning. It anchors at night as per government rules.
Do we get meals on the houseboat?
Yes. Lunch, evening tea, dinner and breakfast come cooked fresh onboard. Tell us your food preference in advance.
Is this trip good for a honeymoon?
Yes. It is one of our most booked honeymoon packages. We arrange flower decoration, candlelight dinner and a premium houseboat on request.
Is Eravikulam National Park open all year?
No. It usually closes for around two months during the Nilgiri Tahr calving season, generally February to March. We confirm the dates before your booking.
Can we add a beach stay at Varkala or Kovalam?
Yes. We extend this route into our 6 Nights/7 Days package that ends at Trivandrum instead of Kochi.
